[ENGLISH] [FRANCAIS] Hierbij hebben we het genoegen u uit te nodigen op de Algemene Vergadering van JEF-België die zal plaats vinden op zondag 16 februari om 15u in Brussel. Ter herinnering, als lid van de Europese Beweging België jonger dan 35 jaar beschikt u automatisch over het lidmaatschap van JEF België.

Het zou handig zijn mocht u uw aanwezigheid op de Algemene Vergadering onderaan bevestigen. De personen die zich wensen kandidaat te stellen voor de verkiezingen van het Federaal Comité kunnen hun kandidatuur stellen op de Algemene Vergadering zelf. De personen die zich wensen kandidaat te stellen voor de verkiezingen van het Bureau dienen dit ten laatste op 10 februari 2014 kenbaar te maken in het onderstaande formulier. Ik dank u bij voorbaat voor uw aanwezigheid op de Algemene Vergadering.

JEF België wilt JOU!

JEF België is op zoek naar een nieuw bestuur! Schrijf je hieronder in voor de Algemene Vergadering en stel je misschien zelfs kandidaat voor het bestuur van JEF België!

16 februari nadert met rasse schreden en daarmee ook het einde van het mandaat van het huidige bestuur van JEF België. Dat betekent ook het einde van een intensief jaar van federalistische acties, promotie, vertegenwoordiging, discussie, en uiteraard de voorbereidingen en de kick-off van de campagnes rond de Europese verkiezingen. Op 16 februari wordt er dus een nieuw bestuur voor JEF België verkozen tijdens de jaarlijkse Algemene Vergadering.

Dit jaar gaat zeker en vast een heel interessant jaar worden. De Europese verkiezingen van 25 mei worden als een heel beslissend moment in de Europese geschiedenis beschouwd. Welk Europa willen we? Komen we dichter bij een (meer) federale unie, of worden de eurosceptische stemmen luider? Hoe pakken we de uitdagingen aan tegen die Europa deze dagen aan moet? Het huidige bestuur van JEF België, de lokale secties en andere JEF’fers waren al heel erg bezig met de voorbereiding en planning van verschillende activiteiten en evenementen rond de Europese verkiezingen. Wil JIJ deel zijn van het team dat deze plannen uitvoert? Wil JIJ de stem van JEF laten horen in de run-up naar de Europese verkiezingen? Wil JIJ de verkiezingscampagne vorm geven? Uiteindelijk zijn wij, de jongeren, diegene die moeten leven in het Europa van morgen. En dat stopt niet met de verkiezingen van 25 mei… Geïnteresseerd? Stel je dan zeker kandidaat voor het nieuwe JEF België-bestuur!

JEF België is een bi-linguale en politiek pluralistische organisatie, wat betekent dat het helemaal niet uitmaakt welke taal je spreekt of wat je politieke voorkeur is. Onze visie voor de toekomst is Europees. We ondersteunen een federaal, constitutioneel en democratisch Europa van burgers gebaseerd op het subsidiariteitsbeginsel en de rule of law. Schrijf je hieronder dus in om mee vorm te geven aan het volgende JEF België-bestuur.

[NEDERLANDS] [FRANCAIS] All paying members of JEF Belgium (which includes the members of the European Movement Belgium under 35)* are warmly invited to participate in our General Assembly. You only need to register underneath. If you are not able to be there in person, you can also give a proxy vote to someone else. In that case, please mention his/her name in the registration form. If you want to run as candidate for the Federal Committee, you can announce your candidacy at the General Assembly itself. However, if you would like to run for a board position, please let us know (via the registration form) by February 10^th at the latest. If you want to become a part of the next JEF Belgium board, but you are not sure yet what this would mean, we suggest you to have a look at our website or to contact us at info@jefbelgium.eu.

JEF Belgium wants YOU!

JEF Belgium is looking for a new board! Register underneath to attend our General Assembly,  and maybe even present yourself as a candidate for the board of JEF Belgium!

As the 16th of February is coming closer, the mandate of the current JEF Belgium bureau draws to an end. And with it an intense year of European federalist action, promotion, representation, and discussion, and of course the preparation and kick-off of the campaigns for the European parliamentary elections. On the 16th of February, a new JEF Belgium bureau will be elected by the General Assembly.

This year is going to be an extremely interesting one. The European elections of the 25th of May are considered a very decisive moment in European history. Which Europe do we want? Are we getting closer to a (more) federal union, or do the Eurosceptic voices gain momentum? How to we approach the various challenges Europe has to face in these times? The current board of JEF Belgium, the local sections, and other JEF-fers have already been very busy with planning several events in the scope of the European elections. Do you want to be part of the team which will realise these plans? Do you want to make JEF’s voice heard in the run up to the European elections? Do you want to shape the election campaign? But it doesn’t stop here. We have the future in our hands. It is us who have to discuss and influence the future we will live in. And this doesn’t stop on the 25th of May with the elections. This is our “mandate” until we reach our goals.

If this is something for you, then JEF Belgium totally needs you! Don’t hesitate, and become candidate for the board of JEF Belgium! Let’s start now to build and promote the ideas that shape our world.
