On January 10, JEF Brussels organised their yearly New Years reception in local bar Zonneklop, a favourite meeting point of the section.
It was a moment to look back at 2018 and look forward to upcoming events in 2019. In 2018, JEF Belgium was partnering in the Enjoy Your Future project and JEF Brussels was especially active to make this project a success. The purpose of the project was to bring together youth around five different topics for the future of the European Union: Employment, Youth, Integration, Criminal Organisations, and Borders. These discussions resulted in different recommendations for each topic, all of which youth from across Europe thought they should be a priority for the future of Europe. This reception marked the official end of the project.
